Emily also performs as much as possible. Emily is a founding member of flute and percussion duo Tungsten Duo and is a member of Melbourne based tango group La Tin Shed Orqesta. Emily has recorded professionally with both these groups. Emily also plays in musical theatre orchestras at various times throughout the year.

“Emily Kimpton came highly recommended to us as a clarinet teacher when Harriet expressed an interest in learning an instrument. We couldn’t be happier with the experience over the last three years. Through Emily’s expert tuition and encouraging teaching style, Harriet has developed a deep love for music and a solid understanding of theory and practice which she has demonstrated through wonderful AMEB results. We would happily recommend Emily to anyone who is looking for a music teacher.” Marcus Ransom and Vicky Dembalas.
